Dog Walkers Code
Do's and Don't's: - Please be aware of other users. Horse riders use the area and many people, especially children, are frightened of dogs running loose. Putting your dog on a lead when circumstances dictate is the appropriate means to ensure all users can enjoy the park.
- Birds nest in low-lying areas. To avoid disturbing ground nesting birds (April-July inclusive) please either keep your dog on a lead, or under close control (within 3 metres), amongst the dune grassland.
- Avoid disturbing feeding and roosting birds. Many birds will not survive the winter if repeatedly disturbed and prevented from feeding and resting
- Please respect any temporary signs requesting your co-operation.
- Please clean up after your dog. Bags / bins are present at Linkfield Links car park.
It is illegal not to clean up after your dog in every part of the park and this is enforced with fixed penalty notices. So please don't fall "Foul" of the law!
