Surfers Clean Up
A big thank you to the members of Belhaven Surf club and friends who once again cleared a stretch of Belhaven Bay on the 11th of April. If it wasn't for local volunteer effort such as this, the beach would not look as good as it does.

Access across salt marsh
Regular users will know that a couple of the routes across the salt marsh are very wet and slippery at present. The countryside ranger service plans to undertake remedial work this winter to make it easier for walkers and riders to use these areas. So please respond to any temporarysignage that goes in place. Sea Wormwood Survey - Volunteers Wanted
Ever wanted to do a bit to help understand our knowledge of John Muir Country Park?
Well on Sunday the 17th August at 10.00am the countryside ranger is looking for volunteers to meet up and help survey for this particular plant. Meet at Linkfield car park. No experience necessary as traning will be given.

Hello, unfortunately I have to report that as of 18th July, a group of travelling people have set up an encampment at Linkfield Car Park. East Lothian Council, in conjunction with the police, are trying to ensure this matter is resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please take extra care tnot to leave valuables etc. in your vehicle.
